"The hotel is a mansion built in the 18th century and the decoration mainly retained the feel of that time. In the room the furniture did show the age but we didn't mind. Our room has a balcony and in the morning you can see the sun coming up to greet you. The hotel staffs are very polite and helpful. The hotel has its own private parking which is convenient if you are driving. The hotel is just 5 minutes walking distance to the old port. I will recommend this hotel."

Bar, restaurant and kitchen sorely understaffed, leaving customers waiting to order, receive their meals and pay. At some stages, even the hotel receptionist was helping out in the bar and kitchen. Staff at all times maintained pleasant demeanours and didn’t fluster at the criticism they received from some patrons, but should not have found themselves dealing with this situation. "Perfectly ok and well situated for Brittany ferries. Very friendly helpful staff. Only downside was that the restaurant was fully booked and I was unable to eat there."
