Negatives : no air conditioning in the room, the SPA very basic, the swimming pool very shallow and basic, jacuzzi with no massage (or not working), just one Finnish sauna working, the other bio-sauna closed; the water in the sauna cooling pool - terribly dirty and disgusting - I wasn't able to get in there! "To get to the hotel, in the immediate surrounding area I passed at least 3 piles of abandoned furniture, mattresses, etc. Not the hotel's fault but not the nicest experience. The shower was so hot, even at the lowest temperature that it was difficult to take a shower. When I complained they told me to closed it and wait 5 minutes for the pipes to cool down. That didn't work and I was offered no alternative. There was no room service so I arrived late and had to drive a few kilimetres to find something to eat."

"This hotel was a great place to stay in Eger. The rooms were a bit small, but very clean and everything (shower, intranet, etc) worked well. The beds were very comfortable. And the breakfast in the morning was outstanding. One could easily walk to most parts of Eger from this hotel. I was surprise me to find out they charged for parking -- they said it was to pay for the security system. It sort of threw me -- why did they need a security system if this was a safe area? But it was only 5 euros a night, and it turned out there wasn't enough spaces for one night, so we had to park on the street. We found a spot very close to the hotel and had no issues. The hotel had a mineral bath, but unfortunately we never had a chance to use it. But they provided robes for the baths, which was a nice touch. "
