This was my second visit to Awei Metta and it was excellent. I highly recommend it and as a solo female traveller I felt very safe and well looked after. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Staff was really nice and friendly, room was clean as standard bed was comfortable. Great location as it close to most of tourist attraction eg. Bogyoke Aung San Market, Shwedagon pagoda, Botahtaung pagoda.

M gallery surpassed all expectations. From entering the hotel the service was attentive. Plenty of international papers in the lobby to keep you busy. The room was extremely comfortable. Enjoyed all the facilities, very nice gym in particular. Plenty of nice restaurants on site. Particularly enjoyed the $20 shared local meal. One of the best things I've eaten in Myanmar. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough.

The hotel is in an excellent location and is relatively close to attractions which are within walking distance or a short taxi ride away. The hotel actually has a shuttle bus service which runs every two hours from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm every day. This has about 10 stops on it's way into town and back to the hotel. The hotel facilities are very good and the staff are very helpful. The food is very good. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Chatrium hotel.

We stayed here for the first three nights of our Myanmar trip. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, very helpful and always attentive. The hotel itself looked a bit shabby on the outside (a pressure washer would fix about 90% of this, and pigeon spikes would deter the birds a lot more) but once you walked through the entrance way it was very fresh, the aircon hit you and everything looked clean and well maintained. The hotel is clean and the staff extremely helpful and speak well in English. The swimming pool is not available due to renovation work and this did not matter to us as we were there only for 4 days and wanted to go out and explore. The Shwedagon pagoda is only a walking distance and the other attractions can be reached by taxis which are relatively cheap and you can nogotiate the price first. The breakfast is good with plenty of choice.

Reasonable price hotel with great room (but a bit small) in a city center that close to a big shopping mall

I went to Yangon for work and this hotel was very well located, close enough to the centre but far from all the noise and crowds. the room was great and the staff one of the most friendliest I have met. The food was good (I missed some brown bread, but nothing else).
