Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo

"My stay at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo was outstanding from start to finish. I was welcomed with a refreshing cup of cinnamon tea and cleansing towels, offered an early check-in upon arrival, and graciously granted a late check-out, which made my stay especially comfortable. The staff were consistently attentive, professional, and genuinely eager to help. They randomly came by my room and offered a fruit bowl of grapes, bananas, apples and guavas! The on-site restaurant serves excellent food, though prices appear higher than at many nearby establishments. Even so, the exceptional service and warm hospitality made this a memorable stay. I would gladly return."

"I travelled with my wife and our two young children, and for the first time, I genuinely couldn't find a single thing to complain about. I travel frequently and have stayed in many hotels, but this was one of the best experiences we have had. I can warmly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families with young children. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the breakfast. While the quality was excellent, the variety could be better, particularly for guests staying longer than four days, as it became a bit repetitive."

"We stayed in Room 2025 for 2 nights. Only problem was that the room was too bloody warm because the AC didn't work properly. In hindsight, we should have complained the 1st night. We didn't. So it's on us. Cinnamomum Red is our favorite business hotel in Colombo. Love the helpful staff and housekeeping staff. Very clean rooms. It is a centrally located nice budget hotel. Great Rooftop restaurant and pool."

"From the time of checking in up to the time of checking out (after a 3 week stay) the experience overall was in one one word ‘EXCELLENT’ Staff was courteous and helpful. Hotel was clean. Big improvement from my last stay some 2 years ago!! Keep it up Cinnamon Grand!"

"All of the staff were very attentive to all of our needs. Cleaning staff did an amazing job. The breakfast buffet was amazing. If you needed anything not in the buffet , the staff would try to accommodate your special needs . All of the managers were friendly and accommodated any special needs that We requested. The Hotel is in a great location close to the ocean . The only issue We found was that the pool was located far from the main building. It was a struggle to get to the pool because of the distance and stairs to get there. Otherwise the pool area was very clean and a great size . Would definitely stay there again on my next trip to Srilanka."
