We stayed here for our honeymoon. Words cannot describe how we feel about Kapama River Lodge. This place is unbelievable. I’ve stayed at many 5* hotels, but this lodge is far more superior than any of them. Real bush experience can spot leopards relatively easily, lovely options for activities in terms of game drives in other private reserves and activities like star gazing tours. Lovely place, lovely staff and the owner goes out of her way to accommodate all requirements.

We spent one night at Mohlabetsi two years ago on a 7 day trip round South Africa. My family didn't want to leave but we always had in our minds to return to this very special place. This time we booked for 3 nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The people, the safari, the animals, the food, the lodges are just perfect. Mohlabetsi will always hold a very special place in all my family's hearts and will definitely go back again one day. I recommend this lodge to anyone!

Everything was 6 stars. Located inside the private game reserve - you are picked up at the gates - being 30 minutes rough terrain drive from Sediba and thereafter are made to feel like special guests. Amazing experience. Staff were very hospitable. The game drives were also really cool. Our ranger, Daniel, went above and beyond to ensure that we saw all the animals on our list. Overall great experience.

Stayed 4 nights - sheer perfection and so so quiet at night. Could not find fault and recommend to other friends already. We will be back again.

A unique and secluded location set in private reserve; with added advantage of having hosts nearby for attention and customer service. We arrived in the early evening to find a welcome fire/bbq already lit...such a kind gesture! Annie was on-hand to give details of road closures, shopping advice; general comfort chats. The surrounding garden was a delight for bird-lovers; attention to detail in the accommodation perfect combination of lowkey and luxury.

This Safari camp massively exceeded all expections from arrival till the day we had to leave. All members of staff were highly knowledgeable, My partner and i learnt so much and we was very sad to leave.

An absolutely stunning hotel all decorated in a Rembrandt theme. Huge rooms with extra comfy king sized beds. Imagine sipping your room service delivered wine while soaking in a bathtub for 2 (or a walk in shower). An excellent restaurant with an extensive menu and tasting menu (must reserve in advance). a beautiful wine cellar... This is the perfect halfway stop between northern Kruger and JNB. Perfect 5* service with a friendly touch.
