Everything was exceptional! The room was beautiful and clean, every single staff member was so friendly and helpful! The facilities were great, the food was delicious and the safari was just amazing!

Wonderful place, Rangers, trackers and staff. Excellent food in terms of quality and choice and lovely wines / beers. Loved every minute and would love to return again. Been to other ( more expensive) camps in the area and this one is much more relaxed and enjoyable.

The tents were stunning, the food was delicious, and the service was top notch. Always felt safe, and spotted so many animals on the game drives. Would recommend!

WOW! What a fantastic experience. This is a small slice of Paradise in the African bush near Kruger National Park. Wow, what can you say about this place - it's just amazing. We were expecting quite a lot from our safari, but this exceeded it, by a mile... As you only go on safari to actually go deep in the bush, we can certainly say that this achieved our goal and more - the Ranger and Tracker working here, Peter and Sandy, are very, very, very good at what they do. We got the see all big 5 in our first 2 safaris, and went on to see them again and again... They made it a point that we get to see each one up...

Khaya Ndlovu is a rare gem. The beautifully curated indoor and outdoor spaces on the manor strike the perfect balance between elegance and homeliness. All the staff provide perfect but at the same time very relaxed and super friendly service. The food is delicious. South African hospitality at its best!

My wife and I had a fabulous time spent at Nyati. Arranged collection from Hoedspruit airport and on arrival at the lodge a lovely welcome and drink then shown to our luxury tent. A stunning view from the balcony of our tent overlooking the river and able to see hippos and crocodile. Game drives were excellent and rangers all very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is amazing and thoroughly enjoyed breakfast , lunch and dinner and the wines served were also very good with the evening meal....

Everything was excellent. From the restaurant staff to the tour guide’s everyone was pleasant with a can do attitude. Our safari guide Louis was absolutely magnificent and made it his personal mission to ensure everyone had a great time, using all his tracking skills to get us to see the wonderful wildlife available.

I should preface this review by saying that I am a professional wildlife photographer. I have stayed at dozens of safari lodges both expensive high-end and ‘budget’, all over Southern and East Africa. The Blyde River Canyon Lodge is great. While not exactly a safari lodge as such (it’s not in a true wildlife park) the architectural style is very ‘safari chic’ using a lot of local natural materials and thatched roofing. Having deliberated for some time wether to go with the herds at Sun City or one of the much more expensive lodges over that way we opted for the much smaller Black Rhino hoping for a more personal bush experience. I booked this for my daughter & her boyfriend as a break whilst they were volunteering in South Africa. They absolutely loved it. The hotel / food were really good and the game drives superb - seeing a wide variety of animals at close quarters. The knowledgeable rangers join the guests at dinner which adds to the experience. They loved it so much they decided to stay for a 2nd night!

A peaceful stopover on the way up from JNB to Zim border - highly recommended
