The room I had needed updating as it was tatty in places, especially the bathroom.
The front door had gaps, so it let in noise and smells from the busy street out front.
Nice amenities in the room, with baked cookies, which was a nice touch.
This hotel has access to a public beach, and your hotel room door is your only security. It's very open, and they have a lot of locals trying to sell you tourist gifts. This can be annoying, but they leave you alone once you ask them to.
The pool is nice, and we ate at the restaurant past the gardens, which was good. Pizzas, pastas, etc if you can't cope with the spicy food."
