"This is an out-of-the-ordinary Spanish parador. To be chosen by those on honeymoon, be it for those just married or those celebrating 50 years. The hotel is adjacent to a formidable castle, open for visitation. And there is a gorgeous hike into the woods, also adjacent to the hotel. Jaen is an interesting town, too. Would like to thank the staff at the hotel for making the extra effort to accommodate our son who at last minute joined us and needed a room. Book early because this hotel is in high demand, and for good reasons, too. We booked this hotel on a Ruta de El Quijote adventure in Spain. This route includes Toledo, Ciudad Real, Banos de la Encina, Jaen, Cordoba and Sevilla."
