LyLo Christchurch Airport

8/10 Good

"Great choice if looking for a budget option near the airport. Amenities were quite nice, bathroom was clean, and staff was very helpful. Not a ton of space, but very doable for a night or two."

Novotel Christchurch Airport

8/10 Good

"Location of the hotel is wonderful. The hotel and guest room was clean. Good work for the housekeeping staff. During check-in, one of the the night front desk agent appeared reserved and unapproachable. Having worked in hotel operations, I believe this interaction did not meet brand service standards. While I understand the challenges of night shifts and expected nothing elaborate, a simple, warm greeting is a basic courtesy that requires little additional energy and contributes meaningfully to the guest experience."

Sudima Christchurch Airport

10/10 Excellent

"The location is excellent for airport access and the rooms were clean and tidy with everything you could need. The ability to small milk bottles from the front desk was a lovely touch. We found the rooms to be very quiet even though the hotel is on a major road and right next to the airport. I would definitely stay here again. Great stay."

Sudima Kaikoura

8/10 Good

"We booked a balcony room with an ocean view. It was very nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the shower had no door and was very dark and the lighting in the bathroom was also very dark. They do have a gym, but it is very small. Also the gym does not have water or heavy weights. I believe the heaviest is 25 kg. No barbells at all. Luckily it was just me in there both mornings or else it would be too many people! The pool was lovely and heated and not to be missed. The breakfast was average. The oatmeal was almost soup and the hard-boiled eggs were overcooked. However they had delicious hard cheese and a juicer. You will be fed and find something. The happy hour for beer was a bit of a rip off because they "discount" the Heineken but then also serve it in a smaller glass, so it is actually more expensive! The food for dinner was decent enough and worth eating a meal there. The location is fantastic and a 10 minute walk to the town center or a 40 minute walk to the seal beach. There are places to stop on the way there and excellent grilled seafood for lunch if you take that (recommended) walk. It was a solid hotel overall."

ASURE Hanmer Inn Motel

10/10 Excellent

"The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful on arrival. The location is excellent for walking to the pools bars cafes and exploring Hanmer. Asure offered towels for the pools which was really helpful. We had an upstairs room which had a lovely balcony to sit out and have a quite drink in the sun.Plenty of parking, clean and comfortable room everything you need in the kitchenette. Highly reccomend staying here."
