"The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The room itself is very basic—there was no mini fridge, and the microwave is located in the hallway near the ice machine. The staff was very kind and helpful. Our room keys didn’t work the first night, and the staff member was still very pleasant even though she had to come let us in with the master key. We were able to get working keys the next day on our way out. The bathroom could have used a deeper clean, especially the walls, but overall the room was acceptable. This is a very old building with a lot of history and character, which adds to the charm. Parking was a little tricky. There was only one space left when we arrived, so we were glad all four of us rode together. The building itself is fantastic. The long porch with rocking chairs and beautiful lake views was one of our favorite parts of the stay. The lake is gorgeous, and there are plenty of enjoyable things to do and see around it."

"I good place to lay your head. Not much impressive about the property except the view of the mountains and it was clean. Nothing special about the breakfast, but enough to have something to eat before heading out. For people traveling through, it’s quiet and clean and worth the stay. For those wanting something special for a couple days on vacation, I would look elsewhere."

"My room was very tidy and updated - definitely exceeded my expectations. We're not talking Ritz here, but everything was in nice shape. It's owner-operated, and he was excellent - I had some travel complications and he made all the concerns I had about checking in/etc. disappear. Nice guy too. Parking is just outside the door like you'd expect in a classic Motel. There's a great breakfast joint next door that's reasonable and tasty (and has gluten free options too, which was an pleasant and unexpected surprise). All in all, very happy with everything and happy to support a small business!"
