"Gorgeous property within the old city walls. Easy to walk to restaurants, stores, and attractions. Breakfast and pool/ spa were fantastic l. Stayed in winter, was very quiet, I assume it is busier in summer. Booked a family room with bunk bed, loved having the extra space and privacy. "

"Staff will do everything to make sure your trip to Visby is a wonderful one. We had a personal emergency come up and the hotel owner sprung into action to make sure we could handle the situation as smoothly as possible from Sweden. Excellent breakfast included with gluten free options, room was lovely - old touches like stained glass and exposed brick wall but also modern, and the location was two turns away from the tourist hub, so it was quiet. The courtyard is lovely. Wouldn’t want to stay...

"The location is quite good, just a two-minute drive from the port and about a 20–30 minute walk to downtown. The food was delicious, though it would be nice if the breakfast options were rotated more frequently. I stayed in a double room with a sea view, which was lovely. Unfortunately, the ventilation system in the room was quite noisy. I requested a room change, but was told that many rooms had the same issue, so I decided to stay in my original room to enjoy the better view."

"Absolutely outstanding hotel. It really felt like a home from home. Very comfortable rooms in a beautiful old building, with a fantastic bar and restaurant. The pool and saunas were spotless and very relaxing. The staff were some of the most friendly and effective hotel staff I have ever encountered. Nothing was too much trouble, they were so friendly and helpful. I Highly recommend this hotel. "

"Very quiet and peaceful place. Well appointed room. Breakfast verged on a simpler buffet type. Building is on the hill top and in the 1700s or 1800s served as Gotland’s archive. Lovely view of harbour from our bedroom. Well located just a 10-minute walk into the heart of Visby. "
