"I booked this place not expecting anything more than a three star and indeed the place did not disappoint. The room was advertised as executive but it was way below average. It was more of a backpacker. The furniture is old, the floor is neither tiled nor carpeted (it was a cement floor). The room has this 1982 bed with a very old mattress.The shower was not working properly. I must say the people were very friendly and the Wifi was on point."

"We went to Eswatini for a Hawane dam fishing trip. Hawane resort was a excellent place to stay , with friendly staff. Unfortunately Hawane dam access is now controlled by Malaloja game reserve and even with a fishing license obtained by Malaloja, we found it extremely difficult to enter the dam premises. It is also extremely sad to see and hear that they allow nets in Hawane dam. We caught this carp, removed pieces of net from it, and released him."

"Loved everything about the hotel. The spacious rooms are set in well manicured gardens where peace and tranquility abound. Its so peaceful. Breakfast was wonderful with plentiful options. A highlight was the Palm Cascades restaurant located within the premises where great food is served with good service."

"It's a wonderful village up in the mountains. Our hosts made a tastey dinner and breakfast, made sure all our needs were taken care of, took us on a nature walk, visited a farm, and the school. The house is traditional and authentic. One of the best ways to get up and close to the culture. "
