There was an awful smell in the room that never went away. There were visible marks on the walls, a stale smell, and the bathroom could definitely use a more thorough scrubbing. It is well signposted and accessed by a short gravel road. It is a 20 minute walk into the new village for a bar/cafeteria meal (the old village is a bit further away and that was a famous Peninsular War battle site, but now it has nothing else)."
