"The property description on Expedia is incorrect. This tea house does not offer rooms with private bathrooms. Their nicest rooms offer an attached squat toilet with a bucket of water. There is no sink and no shower in the “private bathroom.” The advertised “hot shower” is a communal hot shower next to the dining room. The western toilet and sinks are also communal. The owners were unaware of our booking until calling back and forth with someone in Kathmandu. They’re nice people and the tea house is similar to others on the Gokyo Trek, but they should not be advertising it as a 3* hotel with private bathroom on Expedia."

Super friendly, nice and supportive staff all around the resort, so I can only mention a couple of names, "Sirja" at management & "Roshan" at Devarana wellness centre who also guided us patiently to trekking to Namobuddha as well. There's not enough room to mention all names , but I highly appreciate everyone. Incredibly relaxing 90min massage treatment at Devarna wellness was Devine. From the moment we stepped in all the way till checking out it was an awesome experience. It is a MUST visit place for anyone traveling to Kathmandu."
