"Lady on breakfast very grumpy. Scared my grandson on his first Easter break with us ! He was wearing Easter bunnies on his T shirt she said if it was pjs he was not allowed Iin! He is 6 ! The rest of the morning he felt uncomfortable and next morning did not want to come for breakfast."

"We stayed for 3 nights location and amenities are great perfect location away from city life we went with kids they love the area as there is beautiful water fall near by where we enjoyed with kids for hours full of nature . But only disappointing thing was the evening staff at restaurants so rude refused to give us table said v are fully booked where in restaurants was more than half available he said we should book in advance ( seriously we went as walk in)after heated argument some how we got table as kids were very hungry ( not may food option) food took an hour to come felt like they doing it purposely I.o with big disappointment so rubbish also the tables were all empty leaving the same faces we saw. Felt like the staff doesn’t want business ( owners should look into this and they are turning away costumers).But morning breakfast staff was opposite they were very welcoming and nice ready to help and guide. "

"We really enjoyed our stay — the lovely setting and peaceful surroundings made it feel especially relaxing. A special mention also goes to Kelly, who was warm, attentive, and quick to help when the heating broke, which made a real difference. Seeing her again early the next morning, still smiling and welcoming after a late shift, meant a lot."

"We had a lovely welcome at reception, and we had booked a Spa afternoon before our check in . The welcome was not as forthcoming at the Spa , and it seemed a little disorganised. Be aware that if the hot tub is cancelled due to the weather , you will not get a refund, apparently it’s in the T’s & C’s . The room was lovely if a little tired as some other areas were as well , granted it’s an old building , but the maintenance was a little lacking . The service and welcome at the restaurant was very good for evening meals and breakfasts . A couple of criticisms , the wine glasses could nicer , not ordinary glasses , especially as your spending £60 on a bottle of wine . The other was at breakfast, the plates were in a cabinet , which initially I thought was for heating the plates . This wasn’t the case , the plates were freezing and your breakfast was soon cold . "

"Clean, decent shower with high pressure, bed is decent. Minimal rooms with no desks, can be loud but didn’t bother me No parking "

"The room wasn’t bad, and nothing was inherently bad. It was relatively clean. Although, the bath panel was off, the room smelt damp, there was no hot water, the bath mat was mouldy. "

"The room was okay. Though to be fair clean. The beds were a tad uncomfortable. The bed had a ridge at the side so probably needs a new matress. The pillars were cheap. One was too low and two were too high. The breakfast was of a reasonable standard. Though I doubt whether the sausages were Welsh sausages. Probably cheap sausages from wholesale suppliers. I used to make sausages and these definately werent home made. The buffet was very average. The bread was cheap commercial bread. The yogurts were full of ultra processed rubbish. Someone needs to take control of this aspect of the experience. On the positive side the location and the Staff were very pleasant. Not sure whether I would be back in a hurry. "

"The hotel was beautiful and the Bedrooms were so spacious and beautifully decorated.Breakfast was cooked fresh to order. Really enjoyed our stay ."
