Outstanding hotel

"What a stunning, well looked after hotel in the historic centre of Sucre. The room was outstanding, beautifully decorated with a lovely bath tub and the most comfortable super huge bed. The rooftop has a fabulous view of town and it’s a great sunset viewing spot. Staff were very helpful and friendly. In terms of improving I would only say breakfast could do with some re-thinking, maybe just freshly cooked eggs to order would just do a trick. Thank you for a fabulous stay. "

"Hassles checking in as booking not found using Wotif (Expedia). Very stressful with long interrogation. Shower was terrible with only a trickle of warm water each shower. The room had a great view and the heating in the room was excellent. Breakfasts were average. "

"Gorgeous historic hotel! It has a beautiful cellar restaurant and a rooftop with food/drink service where you can view the city and the sunsets. It’s walkable and safe. Sucre is a beautiful colonial and well-preserved city."

"The hotel is nice which is a few long blocks from the city center but the room we were assigned to it’s noisy at night when the band or music is playing till 2am. The worst part is that we were not allowed to flush bath tissue in the toilet. They ask you to put it the trash where you’ll be smelling used bath tissue every time you use the bathroom!"

Lovely place, would return.

"Beautiful place, great location, very nice staff, great shower. Only downside in my experience was that the bedside lights didnt have working lightbulbs and weren't replaced when I asked them to be. The room also had no curtains, the heater didn't work. But "
