The hotel looks much better than the pictures displayed. Great room, it is the best hotel room during the 12 days I travelled in NZ.

Loved this hotel! Great location and very well restored.

A very nice hotel in a convenient location for Dunedin CBD. The Whittaker's Chocolate was a nice touch as hotels and motels don't seem to leave a cookie or chocolate for guests anymore. The bee was very comfortable and the bathroom was super clean. The toilet was a bit noisy after flushing but it's no big deal, unless you go to the bathroom in the night. It can be a bit irritating. Internet was good, and plenty of toiletries, tea, coffee, and towels. Thank you for realising women need more than one towel :)

Very nice amenities. We really enjoyed the complementary bottle of wine and climate control in the room, great stay!

Had nice relaxing stay at this property, it was warm and so cozy! The host was very kind in terms of letting me add my children onto the booking last minute. He was very welcoming and it was very appreciated. Thank you so much!

Close to city, clean and tidy and had all that we needed

The owner John was very personable and knowledgeable and gave advice about more travel. Feeding the alpacas and sheep was a unique experience. The sunset was beautiful and peaceful. Did not book breakfast but owner was accommodating and flexible and added it. Good continental breakfast, good choices. Liked the heated towel rung in bathroom.
