Unique and interesting decor. Very dog friendly and the breakfast was great. There's a lovely Italian restaurant (pizza pizza) just down the road (not open on a Monday though). We stayed at this hotel in the way to Portugal in March and in the way back to the UK in May and we were certainly happy to visit a second time.

A perfect hotel. One of the loveliest hotels I’ve ever stayed. The accommodation seem new and well equipped. The shower is amazing. The staff were enthusiastic and friendly. We arrived late in the afternoon but the terrace bar was still open. The food was great and very reasonably priced. We had breakfast for around 17euro each and it was delightful. I will definitely return here . The hotel fits in with the lovely city that Ávila is.

Stunning place in Duero. The staff at this hotel must be commended on for service! It has to be one of the best places I stayed at!

Quiet boutique hotel within the walls but with some parking.

We only had a short stay at this lovely hotel. Lovely friendly welcome at check in and when we checked out. Comfortable beds but the pillows were a little hard for my liking but that’s all a matter of taste. Great location and if back in Valladolid we would definitely stay again.

El aparcamieno está al dado del hotel, para acceder hay una rampa muy pendiente, pero no se puede evitar dado el desnivel entre la celle y el hotel. Muy buen desayuno, muy surtido y con pruductos de calidad.

Top, first time in this hotel, but will keep it when we come to Valladolid, Cosy bar and friendly staff at the reception and bar.

Hotel location was excellent for the things we wanted to see, could walk everywhere, all the staff very friendly and helpful, good self service breakfast was good value for money and we were glad we decided to include it. Parking was difficult to find, but following signs to the Alcazar will get you there.

This is a wonderful little family run hotel. It has well maintained rustic interiors and a cute internal courtyard with artificial grass, tables and sofas. It’s pet friendly so makes a perfect stop with our dogs as we drive from southern Spain to the ferries or to France on our way home. A simple breakfast is available and cooked to order. My wife and I were anxious about getting to this hotel, but it was quite easy compared to some we visited but use a satnav. The staff were really helpful, the room was lovely and spacious and we had a great view across the beautiful quiet square outside. It was a pleasant walk into town taking only a short while. Stayed with my dog on a journey from the ferry in Bilbao to Portugal. Was so good I booked the hotel for the homeward journey. Beautiful building, great location and excellent staff. Treats and toy provided for my pet so she gives it a thumbs up too :-)

Very dog friendly hotel with dog bed, treats and bowls, lovely clean room but the room was smaller than I thought.

Reception friendly and efficient. Bedroom and public areas spotlessly clean. Good sized bedroom with clean dry comfortable beds. Excellent bathroom with bath/shower, lavatory, bidet and washbasin. Heating is efficient. Breakfast is buffet and one of the best ever experienced in terms of range and quality. Hot food limited to bacon, scrambled egg and sausage - yet this is Spain. We highly recommend it.
