"Location is perfect, getting to stay right in Waterton made all our activities nice and easy. Other reviews did mention the heat, and that is true, the rooms definitely retain heat. But our room was clean, and spacious. We were happy with the choice. "

"The facilities very nice, every staff i encountered were professional, friendly and eager to help with all request! Kids loved the pool and waterslide and the continental breakfast ok and they were quick to refill items. noticed there were some gluten free and dairy free items available and i appreciated the fresh fruit and yogurt!"

"Really great hotel to visit with family. Easy check in, great water park for the kids, and easy access to restaurant. Travelled without dog and they gave her treat upon arrival :) Our room was standard but very well clean and lots of counter space in the bathroom. Fitness centre was decent, the cardio machines were good, had free weights and space for floor work. In the corner they had a multi use cable machine that is VERY run down. Preferred the free weights over it. The only negative experience was the restaurant getting our orders wrong in some capacity for both dinner and breakfast."

"The thing that stands out about this property is that it is a unique legacy hotel with a one of a kind character. It was constructed by the Great Northern Railroad in conjunction with neighboring Glacier National Park. One must remember when staying at such a property that it is old and because of it's historical significance it is not modern so there are "inconveniences" that are a part of that special legacy. The staff is young and eager to please and proud of the property and the legacy that it represents and this is reflected in the service that they provide. If you are going to stay at Waterton Lakes National Park (Glacier/Waterton International Peace Park) you absolutely should consider staying here. "
