Whilst this hotel is about an hours drive from the airport, Bridgetown and the tourist nightlife, it more than makes up for it with it's quiet, peaceful location and the friendliness and quality of it's staff. If you want to visit different locations around the island you will need to hire a car (for an adventure, try the bus services - quite an experience - but try to avoid school in & out times unless you want to experience being a sardine). Everything at this hotel is perfect , have been here many times before and still returning, the staff are exvelent etc.,etc,

We went for 8 days with our 9month old daughter and could not have been more satisfied. The rooms/apartments are incredibly spacious, have a beautiful ocean views, a generous kitchen and are finished to a very high standard. The same cleaner comes every day and does an incredible job at keeping the apartment clean (including dishes and laundry). The property is right by the beach and the gazebo serves a nice selection of food (e.g. fish, salads, sandwiches) and offers room as well as pool side...

Harriet was waiting at the airport which was lovely which we had arranged before hand and I kept in contact about flight delay. She took us to there apartment and showed us around which was great . We had a lovely time just for 1 night as we were off to St Vincent the next day. We have been to Barbados before and will go again at some point so will definitely stay here next time .

Our room was really lovely, with a great balcony looking over the polls to the sea. The bed was really comfy, though as is often the case overloaded with pillows/cushions, and the shower was excellent. There was a well-equipped kitchenette with fridge, freezer, microwave and 2 hobs, plus plenty of crockery etc. There was a kettle and a filter coffee machine, but no tea bags or coffee. This was our first time staying in Barbados and at the hotel. We had a 1-bedroom Queen suite with ocean view. Very spacious, well equipped and fabulous view overlooking the pool and ocean. Plenty of sun beds available every day; parking for our vehicle; and some great restaurants all within a short walking distance. Staff were great and we would definitely return to The South Gap.

We stayed at Le Roy Hotel as a last minute decision, having visited Barbados a few times we found this hotel previously Infinity on the beach. We were welcomed by the reception staff who were friendly and efficient, organising our lovely sea view room. The room and the rest of the hotel were immaculately clean, with beautiful gardens a credit to the gardener. Our favourite part of the hotel was the bar and restaurant, the food was a really high standard and the cocktails did the trick!...

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Being a relatively new hotel all the facilities were in very good order and made of a really relaxing stay.

Wonderfully relaxing holiday perfect for de-stressing. All rooms benefit from ocean views with every little detail taken into consideration. Wonderful island genuinely kind caring hospitable people.

Stayed all inclusive - food was varied every day and always a healthy choice! The basic garden view is still amazing - we had our own balcony, lounge and kitchen. All of the staff were super friendly, as were all locals in Barbados. The excursions and use of big hotel on beach made a difference too. We were there for a wedding which was amazing and the spa treatments we had was great - I really can't say a bad word about it!

A small boutique hotel set in exotic mature gardens. Most rooms are in the garden and have covered terraces that lead to a rock pool which is great for swimming - I managed one length under water to be greeted by a monkey when I surfaced ! They have a young chef who trained in New York, so the standard of presentation and cuisine is excellent. There is a strong artistic and interior design lead influence which will appeal to like minded people.

Outstanding hotel, full of history, perched above the ocean on the beautiful east coast. Everything is immaculate. Rooms are brilliant and food is excellent. Lovely coastal walk to charming Bathsheba.

Lovely hotel, well located and well maintained

I was staying for just 1 night before flying home. I was made to feel extremely welcome by the hosts and their charming granddaughter. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable with all the facilities you'd need. I really liked the information board in the hallway so no questions went unanswered.
