"Overall nice stay, however very overpriced for the experience. Restaurant staff is very inexperienced and English is difficult for most to understand for correct meal orders. If you’re there for the “bar-b-que” night, be warned it’s somewhat chaos and orders may not come out correct or at all. Never received my dinner order and had to walk up to the grill chef to wait for it. They’re simply overwhelmed. The toilets are not accepting toilet paper. We only booked the day before so no complaints really. Stayed for 3 nights. If I was staying longer I would need a bigger room. Ours was a twin in the main hotel"

"Couldn’t imagine a better place to stay than this in San Pedro de Atacama. The location is ideal, right in the center of town close to all restaurants, bars etc but is quiet and peaceful. The design is simple and elegant. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, good water pressure in the shower. The staff is friendly and helpful. "What a fantastic find. This family run adobe style motel excelled in service. The owner was full of great advice on things to do, and even purchased our tickets for Chaxa when we couldn't get the website to work. The only downside is it is out of town and the roads are narrow and windy, but the upside is peace and quiet."

"We were in Antofagasta, as a base to tour the ESO Paranal Observatory. A remarkable value… 13th floor room, beautiful, quiet and well-appointed, with a small terrace, overlooking the bay. Enjoyed our breakfasts and our two dinners at the excellent seaside restaurant. Did not use the pool, but it looked lovely. "

"Let's be clear: San Pedro is kind of a weird place. The main tourist jumping-off point for the central Atacama, it clings tightly to a down-market, $5-a-day-backpacker image. The town offers essentially one long street of low-cost bars and restaurants, lounging stray dogs, energetic tour touts, cookie-cutter souvenir shops, and oddly expensive outdoor equipment dealers. In the evenings, all those backpackers kill time by walking up and down the street and looking for happy hour prices on beer....
