High class facilities and very helpful staff, a quality of hotel I wasn’t expecting for the price. Good location close to the lake and a short, pleasant walk into the centre.

Stayed in the treehouse and it was excellent. The view of the sunset was visible and I slept like a baby each night. Will definitely stay there again. The staff were friendly the dinner options were great. Breakfast options were limited but what was there was tasty. Relatively close to the Rock churches so that was good.

All of the staff members who we interacted with very helpful, and helped make our stay a memorable experience.

Lovely hotel - simple and stylish with great service

Our stay at Kuriftu was our favourite in Ethiopia. The resort was beautiful, with a lovely view over Lake Tana. Our room was very comfortable and we were even given an upgrade with an upstairs room, it had a view of the lush garden and also Lake Tana. The hotel was very clean throughout and we ate regularly at the restaurant where the staff were very attentive and the food was good. Top twelve hotel was all and more than I was expecting. The warm welcome, hospitality and all round comfort were outstanding. I am a solo traveller from UK and recurved all the support and guidance I could have wished. Thank you to the very lovely owner and staff.

I cannot praise this place enough. The room was big, clean, comfortable and a lot cheaper than some of the posher hotels further down the road which probably didn't offer much more. The staff couldn't do enough to help and the hotel not only looks good but it is ideally situated in the centre of town.

Location is convinient next to Lake Tana and park. There seem to be limited variety of restaurants that severe Western menu but this is a minor issue.

Great staff and property ! Electricity and net are poor in Ethiopia! Food comfort ard great as are staff and ravishing views from resort of the historic city ! I got invited to local festival by staff where I wax only foreigner but accepted and liked !

I had an excellent stay, as always. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. The hotel is quiet and airy, with beautiful flowers and bird in the garden. And with a short walk to the wonderful Lalibela churches, it is the perfect place to stay.

This hotel is newly built and the management and staff is excellent. It is on the outskirts of town, so we were afraid that it would not be too easy to get into the city, but it turned out to be fine. We ate at the restaurant on the final night of our stay and it was excellent.

I stayed in fikirandraylodge for two night And the room was clean the bed was very comfortable I had the best sleep very quiet very nice view from my room with big window the owner was friendly helpful arranging my tour service for Lalibela and monastery with the best English speaking guide I highly recommended this lodge the lodge worth much more than other hotel

Excellent hotel overlooking lake Tana. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Food varied local and international. Sitting areas well appointed and beautiful gardens. Can take boat trips to local islands to see churches and history of battles between Ethiopian armies and colonial powers.
