We have booked a three night stay here with Expedia. As we have found out when we arrived Hotel Astoria is closed. Expedia should have known that and not book us into a closed hotel. I have booked the stay with Expedia, Expedia has taken the money from my credit card on August 11th. I expect a full refund and compensation for a night wasted on the phone in the street until past midnight talking to the Expedia customer support who did nothing to resolve the situation. I have no email address to contact the Expedia customer support and thus my request to them is: 1. Immediate refund of the money that Expedia has taken. 2. A compensation for a lost night which we should have spent into a hotel room instead of talking to their support on the street. We have evidence of the chat with the Expedia customer support. Our reservation was starting on 4th of September. We waited for 2 hours until 23:55 for their staff to resolve the situation - during 2 hours they came up with no proposal, no solution, nothing but excuses. They should have booked us into another hotel instead of leaving us on the street to wait indefinitely. I have a case number given by the customer support who has promised us a refund in the morning of September 5th. The case number is S-215434108

Ein einfaches 3 Sterne Hotel zum günstigen Preis. Zimmer sind o. k. ( das Zimmer 110 roch etwas muffig, wenn man gut gelüftet hat und das Fenster offen ist, dann war es noch gerade o.K.). Das Bad war gut. Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und die Leute sind freundlich.

Great hotel, hard to locate

The location was a bit far from the train station and street signs were not available to help locate the facility (this was not the hotel's fault). The staff was very helpful and friendly (especially the one who worked in the breakfast room) and provided information we needed. Room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable.

Check in war in Ordnung . Zimmer sehr klein und dünne Wänder man hört den Nachbar selbst beim betätigen des Lichtschalters . Zimmerlage in Richtung Strasse sehr laut . Frühstück war in Ordnung . Der Preis war für die Lage und dem Gesamteindruck etwas überhöht .
