The hotel was in a beautiful setting and the staff could not have been more helpful. As it is the low season we had the pool and hotel to ourselves some days. At the weekends it does get busy as the locals come to use the pool and have dinner. Hiring a car is essential, we thought we could hire bikes but the hills are just too steep. The food was lovely. The bungalow we stayed in was simple, clean and spacious with good air con and an amazing shower. The views were breathtaking. (We had a bungalow with a sea view). I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. There are of course things that can be improved, but overall, if you want to go on holidays in Guadeloupe, this is a great place to go. Take my rating of 5 stars as a relative rating compared to other hotels on the island, not to an absolute rating against all hotels all over the world (for that it would probably be more of a 4 stars).
