The hotel was great. The only con was that the room above us must have had a child who was jumping off the bed repeatedly throughout the evening causing a loud noise. Where were the adults?

The air conditioning was not working correctly. We had two rooms with our son and his family in one and us in the other. Both did not work. Also, the pull out bed mattress was lumpy for our grandson to sleep on. We asked for 8 towels for both rooms but were only given 5 as well as wash rags.

This was our first stay at a Comfort Inn and it was very nice. The location was right off the exressway and easy to find. The parking was more than sufficient and I felt very safe leaving my vehicle overnight. The lobby was very cozy with a gas fireplace for great atmosphere. Check in was quick and the hostess was very pleasant. Our room was cozy with nice amenities (microwave, fridge, coffee pot w/coffee, lotions, hairdryer to name a few). The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows (best I've had in a hotel). The temperature control unit was automatic and it enable you to keep a fan blowing on low to help drown out any background noise. Breakfast was nice, with a lot of good (and healthy) selections. The dining area was kept nice and clean which is not always the case in other places. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again.

The front desk manager, Tiara, is so kind and approachable. She personally brought a nice warm just-out-of-dryer to our room even though she was supposed to be off the clock. I will definitely book at your hotel, should I need to in the future. She is truly an asset to your business!

Okay for 1 night. Good price.
When checking in, the employee who checked us in was not polite. It felt very "My job is to check in these people and move on with my life." The bed really wasn't very comfortable and we could not get the AC to work so it was quite warm. While we didn't use the drawers, we pulled them out and they were pretty dirty. Aside from all of this, the bathroom appeared in good shape. In the morning, the employee working the breakfast was doing a great job and she was very polite. Breakfast itself served the purpose just fine.

What really impressed me with my stay at Comfort Inn involved my being disabled and the excellent accessible accommodations that were provided. The truth be known I was there for my stay because a facility just one week earlier couldn’t manage to get accessible done right! I will certainly remember my stay at The Comfort Inn Des Moines West, Iowa on our next travel down Hwy 35 in Central Iowa, you can be sure.

great, not fantastic.
The room was great, except for the thinness of the walls and doors. Could hear literally everything in the hallways. Not a complete deal-breaker, but definitely an inconvenience.
