We accommodated your very late check ins the previous 2 nights. However, on this last night we did not have you as arriving with us at 10pm when the lobby closed. We would have been happy to help you if you had called the after hours phone. When you, instead, chose to take keys from our late check in station that clearly had another guest name on them and refused to return them when our over night person tried to help you, we had to resort to asking you to leave the property. In addition, you knocked on multiple guest doors waking them up looking for the room that didn't belong to you in the first place. It was a very strange situation and unfortunate that we could not get you to cooperate and return the keys or stop disturbing all of our guests at midnight. It took this behavior for us to finally have to resort to calling the police to assist and thankfully that did get you to vacate. It is for that reason you are on the do not rent list. We do not generally have such behaviors from our guests and have to do what is best for everyone who stays with us.

While we understand your frustration, please understand that you chose to book a no cancel reservation with Expedia where they gave you a lower rate but indicate a warning when you book that you can't cancel your stay or they will still charge for the whole thing. As a hotel, we do not have such policies and do not offer discounted stays without an option to cancel. We did try to contact you the day of your stay and were unable to reach you. Perhaps you told Expedia you were going to be a day late. I apologize as the hotel was not informed. We were still able to get you the same room type that you booked when you arrived. When you reported the room as unsatisfactory, we refunded all but the 1 night as that is the cancellation policy and by the time you let us know you would not be staying it was quite late. Staff and management did go to the room as you indicated you felt there was an odor, unfortunately it was not verified but we honored your refund as a courtesy and as we try to maintain positive relations with our guests. We apologize for the confusion you had with Expedia regarding the type of reservation you booked with them and their cancellation policy. We do understand that left an unhappy feel to your check in and affected how you felt about your experience over all. As we did not charge you the stay, we hope Expedia has compensated you as well.
