"The salt water pool was warm and enjoyable. The hot tub was too hot for my liking. Could only sit for 5 minutes before sweating and could not adjust jets. Everything else about the hotel was perfect. Great staff, room was cozy and beautiful view. Highly recommend and plan to be back."

"Unit 1 was amazing. View is panoramic and private beach is priceless. We saw 4 gray whales and several sea lions. Best view in all of Depoe Bay. Location works too. Evening Karaoke at Wing WA or good quality meal at Tide Raves. Definitely worth the money and time. Didn’t really need to do anything other than relax and enjoy things. Late check out was offered."

"The location of the property is great! Conveniently located near shopping, local restaurants and beach access! All staff we encountered were so nice, knowledgeable of the area and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. If you plan on being in the room a lot you may struggle with limited amenities in the rooms, but all the basics were there and let’s be honest the best things on the coast aren’t in the hotel room, they are on the sandy shores and historic bay front. My only negative complaint is no hand soap in the room and a few more hangers would have been helpful. All in all we love staying at the Waves hotel."
