"The Room was excellent for a beach location in a reasonably remote Area. The Breakfast is unbelievably Good , incredible !. We had an issue with our overall Trip due to a Storm. The Host - “ Anna “ was incredibly Helpful to us sorting out some alternative arrangements. I would recommend a stay at Windrose if you find yourselves in “ Denmark “."

"Luxurious, clean, well appointed room and amenities. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The self served breakfast is a great start to the day. The complimentary sweet treats to have with your tea or coffee and/or a port in the evening were a nice touch. "

"Property is great, but massive downside is no WiFi. This should be flagged at top of listing - a note for the owners and Hotels.com/Expedia. Some people may want a place with no WiFi, so it can be a selling point too. But this place has very poor mobile phone reception too. For a combined holiday with the need to do some work, this just didn't work. The owners also highlighted the TV, which only had basic channels despite being a smart TV. The place was spotless, but relatively basic. The check in and check out instructions were too threatening and old-style holiday camp telling off, rather than a welcoming holiday retreat. If you need a family place by the beach this might be for you. "

"Beautiful tranquil accommodation, fully equipped, in a forest retreat location, close to a town only 5 minutes drive for great selection of bakery, coffee shops, general amenities, pharmacy & supermarket"

"Cottage was beautifully decorated & well appointed. Very private & peaceful location. The weather was wet & chilly during our stay so the log burner was much appreciated! "
