The staff at this property were amazing! They were extremely kind and attentive. As it is a family run business, you feel at home. They really make you feel a part of the family! As for the location it is so close to the Pamukkale park (the white mountain/pools) which makes it extremely easy to see that point :)

The room itself was small but had the basics. It had a small balcony which was nice. This hotel was perfect for 1 night while we explored Pamukkale. The hotel itself is only a 5 minute walk from the thermal pools. We got to spend an entire day exploring that, along Hierapolis. Breakfast in the morning was very good and we enjoyed our time relaxing on the rooftop patio. We were most impressed by the staff - everyone was so kind. We appreciated it after a long trip!

The problem is only they during night time they didn’t turn heater because temperature at night time around 2 degree and another thing that they didn’t give us disposable slippers as well no complementary water.

The hotel is in a very good location, easy to find and check-in. It is only 5 min walking distance to Pamukkale travertine terraces and the ancient Roman city. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Pool is with Pamukkale mineral waters and cool, very good for refreshment after hot day spending on travertines. Strongly recommended

Fantastic family run hotel, the family were so friendly & couldn’t do enough for us. Arranged excursions at a much lower price than booking online. Very clean with a lovely roof terrace for food & drinks all reasonably priced. Air con was included with the room price. Lovely quiet pool area to sit & relax to enjoy the sun. Fantastic location, 5 minute walk to the travertine’s & bars & restaurants but situated in a quiet location so no noise of an evening.

Pamukkale
Great location for a quick walk to the Pamukkale site. Great breakfast, scrambled eggs not just hard boiled, on a terrace with a view of Pamukkale. Rooms clean and comfortable. Parking in front of hotel. Highly recommend.

Besides the fact that the hotel was clean, there is nothing to wrote much. But it should be noted it is very close to the travertines. Worst was the bathroom, very suffocating. On the last day the light was switched off.

Clean hotel. Good location.
Very good location, merely walking distance from the famous hot springs. The hotel was very clean. Unlike many other lower price hotels in Turkey this did not feel dated. So it’s a simple hotel, but with good location and clean and nice rooms. I recommend this hotel. See photo to see what breakfast looks like.

My Stay at Karvan Saray Hotel
I stayed with my family one night in the hotel. It is easy to reach from the city of Denizli. Good value for the money. Breakfast is also good. Downside is the room and the washroom are a bit to small. Breakfast starts at 8am and check out is before 10am. But if you want to keep your bags in the hotel after checking out, it is fine. If you want to swim or go to the water around the Museum, use a lot of sun cream to avoid strong sun burn after you have left the place.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would recommend it if you would like to stay a night or two as it is cosy and comfortable but wouldnt be suitable for a long stay as the rooms are quite small

Rooms need updating.
Location was excellent and breakfast was good. Rooms were dated and small. The hotel information stated self service laundry which was untrue. The air conditioning didn’t work so our room was changed for another. As two women travelling alone we felt slightly intimidated which we haven’t felt anywhere else.

This hotel has a great location, good view of the mountain and easy to walk there. It has a nice pool, and well appointed rooms.

Clean and friendly.
Great friendly clean hotel. It was winter and the room heater was not keeping us warm. Before we could ask, the proprietor knocked on the door with an extra heater. They had a lovely warm restaurant, and roasted chestnuts on the stove and offered us a bowl of them. Filled the room with a great smell.

Good location for local attractions
Friendly, helpful owner and wife of this well-located hotel with view of travertines from rooftop restaurant, buses close by to many destinations, lots of local restaurants. Good breakfast and nicely cooked dinner when we wanted it. We stayed 4 nights, and wished we'd taken a larger room. Room was not serviced during our stay, hot water a bit unreliable, and swimming pool closed - perhaps all because low season.

Warning...we booked a family room. It was clearly stated on the reservation that there was one parent and the three children were 10, 10 & 8. We arrived around 7 to find that our room had been assigned to a family of two parents and what looked to be about 4 children. The owner reassigned us to two rooms but as this is a motel (with the rooms opening to an outdoor courtyard - right off the street with seemingly little security) my children and I were very uncomfortable with this arrangement and expressed so to the owner. His response was that he thought it would be ok because of the kids ages (and then tried to back paddle and say he wasn't aware of the kids ages - until I brought it to his attention clearly on the booking). Anyways, beware ... if the room configuration is important to you don't expect to get the one you book. You won't be charged extra but you won't necessarily be happy either. In our case the owner did try to find us another room (insisting I'd have to cancel the booking so he wouldn't lose the commotion paid) When we weren't happy with the room at his brother's place he lied and said his cousin's place was no longer available (which it was and where we ended up staying, happily. Overall, I'd steer clear. The owner is dishonest and blatantly lied. If you're not picky about the room then the place looked decent enough for the price from the outside.

Good for overnight short stay
Small, basic but clean and comfortable hotel. Owner/Staff were all very helpful, corporative, and hospitable. We were greeted with free Turkish tea, smile, and free Pamukkale guide book. Breakfast on roof terrace was a refreshing experience. You can't go wrong with this hotel in a place like Pamukkale, especially at that price. And location wise, it's ideal.

Fantastic location, nice family hotel
This is a nice, cheap family hotel with a fantastic location just a short walk from the bottom of the Tavertines. This ended up being ideal, because most of the tourists tend to stay at the top of the hill and my wife and I got to enjoy an introduction to the beauty of Pammukkale without feeling immediately overwhelmed. Our room was a little smelly and the shower could have been cleaner, but the family is very nice and they serve decent food upstairs.

The hotel itself is showing its age and could use a makeover but the pool and super helpful family management compensate for this. Aircon and internet worked fine. Smallish room but comfy enough for a short stay. Though we had an overnight bus to catch after checkout we were allowed to hang out by the pool and lobby(including taking a shower) until it was time - this was greatly appreciated!

So close to Pamukkala
The hotel was so close to Pamukkala we were happy we stayed there. The room was spotless although old and very tiny. The staff was kind and helpful and the breakfast was good. I would stay there again.

Very nice hotel in a terrific location
We picked the Karaca because of price and location. We liked its position between the park and the sea. It was perfect for our family. We walked the boardwalk, snacked etc. We also went into the park and enjoyed its facilities. The hotel seems a bit on the older side, but in a very nice way. The room was nice, but the beds while perfectly functional are getting old, it seems like its time for new mattresses.

Pleasant Hotel
A very homely place with a family feel about it close to all the things you come to Pamukkale for. The lady of the house cooked a good, reasonably priced evening meal, and the slopes of the terraces are only 100mts away. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented. Altogether, a good stopover. Parking was right opposite and we were able to leave our car there the next morning while we walked the site. One piece of advice is if you don't want to climb 200mts vertically, get a taxi for 20TL to the South Gate and it's all downhill from there - bliss!!!!

Good for one night stay
We arrived at 7am as we had caught an overnight bus and the owner have us a room and told us to check in when we were ready. Room was very spacious and clean. Unfortunately the hot water did not work when we told them about this they tried to convince us that it did work however it did not. When checking out on the website it said credit card use was available however it is not. Great location only a short walk to Pamukkale. Owners were very friendly and they provided us with breakfast two mornings even though we only were staying one night.

Familiengeführtes kleines Hotel mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in guter ruhiger Lage in Pamukkale. Der untere Eingang zu den Kalkterassen ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, aber der Betreiber hat angeboten, uns mit seinem Wagen zum Südeingang von Hierapolis zu bringen. So haben wir zuerst die antike Stadt besichtigt und sind dann zum Abschluss durch die Sinterterrassen hinuntergegangen, was viel angenehmer war, danke! Der kleine Hotelpool war im April noch ziemlich frisch, aber das tat uns gut nach dem Tag. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, aber nicht luxuriös, z.B. Möbel in unterschiedlichen Farben/Stilen. Das Duschbad hat erneuerte Fliesen, Waschbecken, Toilette. Das Duschwasser kommt heiß und mit genug Druck, das ist sehr angenehm. Der Klopapierhalter war aber rostig und sollte ausgewechselt werden. Schöne Aussicht über die Dächer der kleinen Stadt, die Umgebung und zu den Kalkfelsen von der Dachterrasse, wo das Frühstück serviert wird. Toll: Jederzeit Tee, Wasser und Nescafé gratis. In wenigen Minuten sind sowohl kleine türkische Läden und Restaurants zu finden, als auch die großen touristischen Läden und Restaurants mit internationalem Angebot. Fazit: Wir waren sehr zufrieden.
