The AC u it could use some updating as it was noisy through the night. Overall, a satisfactory stay!"

"We flew into Deer Lake and stayed at this hotel for one night prior to carrying on to Gros Morne. This hotel was a pleasant surprise! The beds were so comfortable, the pillows were perfect! It was quiet even with our room across from the elevator. The breakfast in the morning was complimentary and had a lot of options! But the freshly baked cookies were definitely our favourites! They were putting in new carpets in the hallways, but the work finished at a respectable time so didn’t affect our stay. My kids loved the pool and slide. Definitely wish all Holiday Inns were like this one!!"

"The location on the banks of the Humber River at Steady Brook is a beautiful natural wonder. The dining options on Sunday and Monday are non-existent, but we picked up some prepared foods and sat in the breakfast room on Monday., which was the only meal which we needed to have on-site. The value compares well with hotels in Corner Brook. We had access to a vehicle which is essential for this property."
