"The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. "Excellent hotel. Friendly efficient staff. Parking provided. Well located in the heart of the town. Room was spacious and comfortable. Heating worked well. Good bathroom. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent. Good meals available in the pub. One thing to note, there is no lift in the building, so stairs have to be negotiated which could be a concern, especially with luggage."
