"Easy to find pub/hotel with plenty parking availability. Very quick and capable booking in by staff.. Problem identified with room choice but manager intervened and agreement quickly made to booking (the error is the only reason I opted for 4 instead of 5 stars). All staff very welcoming and caring and although not the original choice of room we found it extremely clean and adequate for our needs. "Very easy to park and the staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities are comfortable but my only quibble is, despite No Smoking notices everywhere, there was a smell of stale smoke and the fire alarm was set off 4 times. Also i have stayed several times over the last 2 years and the lift is always out of order."

"We have a lovely stay at the cottage. We went as two couples and two dogs. The cottage was lovely and the addition of the hot tub was great. The grounds of the hotel were nice too. The back yard is accessed through the twin bedroom and that is a bit inconvenient but manageable. The cottage could do with a few finishing touches, such as lights outside, door mats, but overall it was clean and comfortable."
