"Hotel was quiet and provided what we needed for a night’s rest on our trip down to NC. Front desk host, Debra was very nice and accommodating. However, the 3rd floor rooms have a heavy chemical smell with smoke undertones…Perhaps an attempt to cover up the smell from people smoking in the rooms even though it’s not allowed. We tried two rooms and found the smell to be the same. We did not partake of the breakfast as it was mostly carbs. I did grab a banana for the road though!"

"The breakfast was very good 👍👍. There is a large mowed yard out front to walk the 4 legged members of the family. The area is very quiet with a Marathon fuel mart across the street. There is a new Burger King adjacent to the Marathon station. We ordered our supper from the Burger King and they delivered it promptly."

"Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly. But property condition was below average. Bathrooms definitely need upgraded. Sleep was comfortable."

"If you are staying near New River Gorge, I highly recommend this hotel. Excellent staff, super friendly, very clean accommodations and breakfast was perfect. "

"Stains all over the place in the room, crusty stuff of chair and couch. Pull out bed from couch had stains on the mattress. Carpet was sticky and the toilet backed after just being flushed with no solids. The breakfast was mediocre at best, but you get it for free."
