If you want to have a relaxing holiday, not doing much but hanging out by the swimming pool, cycling around rice fields, enjoying locally produced organic vegetable meals away from crowds of tourists and being attended to by friendly staff - here is your spot. It is in the midst of the nature so if you have limited tolerance to wild life, maybe reconsider, but I consider such place in this world today as a hidden gem. It was a perfect get away for us and would love to come back again. "

"We came to stay just for the bed. The staff were amazing and generous. Very accommodating. They organised tuktuk for Sigiriya Rock and Cave Temple and were willing to help in every possible way. Good food recommendations. Sadly we didn't get time for the pool which looked so inviting"

"Very expensive stay for not much facilities. Staff barely able to understand requests. No timely answers for queries before we arrived at the property. Staff do not go out of the way to make your experience pleasant at all. Breakfast was below average. For the expensive pricing, you would expect a better spread, but no. Cleanliness of property is also below average when you compare with similar properties in the price range."

"We don’t understand why there are some medium reviews about this place; it is such a beautiful eco resort, lovely surroundings, great staff, you have a view of Sigiriya Rock from the pool, there are friendly monkeys and other sorts of beautiful animals around. The staff is very polite and helpful, they arranged us a transfer for the early morning climb. The included breakfast was very extensive and delicious, the dinner is not best but not bad either. The atmosphere is lovely, so it’s worth eating there. But the village is so close, you can just walk there and eat in one of the restaurants as well, so it’s not a big issue. We definitely recommend a stay here if you’re visiting the rock!!!"
