An excellent stay

Lovely stay at the hotel. Location could not be better. Right on the door step to the main strip while still giving a secluded feel. Stayed at the suite which was a very clean and well maintained room. Staff were very very good - the speed of responses were excellent and very helpful. Traditional style of hotel which is 5 stars for design and service rather than a beach resort like the others in split. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good location for having the option to head to the beach or head in to town. Walking distances seem a lot shorter than when looking at the map before we went. Seemed to have been Newley furnished which is always an added bonus.

Beautiful, very modern and spotlessly clean. Great variety of breakfast.. rooftop pool area is fabulous, wonderful sunset view. The location is perfect, away from the busy old town but conveniently placed for the local bus and walking trails.

Great find in the centre of the old palace area of Split. Room had everything needed for a short (2-3 days) stay. Host Luka was incredibly helpful with directions to find the place (essential given the old palace labyrinth) and with restaurant suggestions. I’d happily stay again

The location is away from the chaos of the Old City, and yet convenient enough for public transport (busses and Uber easily available). From the airport, you can take the airport bus shuttle (only €10 per person) and ask the driver to stop in front of Tommy supermarket. from there, it's a very short distance walk to the hotel. Staff was professional and attentive. Room and amenities are top-notch. Breakfast was sufficient and varied. We loved it!

We booked the Imperator based on the great reviews on Expedia and we were not disappointed. We made contact with Tomo via WhatsApp prior to arrival and he met us at the ferry port and took us to the accommodation with a small history and orientation tour on the way. The guesthouse is set between two courtyards of a small cafe/bar which is on the ground floor and is quite a nice little spot, we had no noise disruption at any point during our stay. Kompas Hotel is a modern and spacious hotel in Dubrovnik. The Old Own is around 15 minutes by bus. The hotel is well managed and the staff friendly and helpful.

Great hotel right on the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place is kept spotlessly clean. Nice touches too like free beach towels and the ability to book the spa area (sauna and hot tub) for an hour at a time for free, which meant that you got private use. We were there for a week and would definitely recommend.
