"Massiv place where most of it is empty and derelict. Not maintained and dirty. We had asked about the pool prior to our stay because this was the only reason for us staying there, and they told us it was available. Upon arrival we find it dirty and couldn't let the kids swim there.. We had one overnight stay in Jodhpur and it was a shame we wasted it in this hotel, and didn't stay at a hostel in the blue city. "I wanted to write this review with ranking this Taj property as the best I had ever stayed at, but I'm unable to based on my checkout experience with the hotel manager. To be brief, it was a nightmare. I can confidently say that the issue was later resolved and effectively handled by Mr. Bhayal. Because of his kindness, professionalism and issue resolution I am more than inclined to leave a positive review. To be fair, this is not the fanciest Taj property I have stayed at nor is the real estate around it exceptionally beautiful, but what it lacks in grandeur it makes up in hospitality. The staff is well trained and polite. The architecture of the property is phenomenal. The food and drinks amazing. I do recommend getting the pool view vs the garden view. I went swimming ever single day and loved it. The pool is perfect!!! The cultural show, magic show and puppet show really bring a warm welcome. At this Taj, you truly feel like family. Don't forget to stop at the boutique and visit Ram, he will make sure you leave looking better than you entered. Again, I want to give a special thanks to Mr. Bhayal. He is an exceptional fine gentleman and an asset to the Taj corporation."
