"Okay, we will start with presentation and overall appearance. The parking lot was easy to access and spots a-plenty. The main entrance was well lit but do not expect concierge service. The reception lobby was easy access, neat, proper, and functional. No fountains, fancy ballroom chandeliers, or ornate (unnecessary) eye-candy clutter. The staff performed professionally and were clear and concise. I would say not to expect much enthusiasm or upbeat emotions from some of the staff. Of course, this is a high-standard, professionally-functioning, hospitality establishment. I don’t think the Pomeroy will generally hire “Suzy Creamcheese”-type individuals. The book-in process was smooth, and, considering my credit card used for the book was fraudulently used literally the day before or trip, the helpful reception person was still able to successfully check us in. Helpfulness of staff throughout the two-night stay was never below expectations. Cleanliness ranks up there too. However, I do wish guests would not be so lazy as to leave paper cups throughout the swimming pool area. (Nice water park and slides.). Food safe note: the REUSE of plates is a STRICT NO-NO at buffets. This includes continental breakfast buffets. Also, large families should be encouraged to to limit their use of two waffle irons at a time so others can also make a waffle. We waited 15 minutes to use one. Location, construction nearby but that is progress and short lived. 4.5/5.0 ."

"There was a bit of an issue on check-in due to a medical emergency with staff. I don’t want to give a bad review based on that! I’ve stayed at this property before and it was fine. In this instance management stepped in and provided a very acceptable solution at a “sister property” and I’m very grateful. I will stay at Bon Voyage in the future I’m sure."
