"It took so much time to check me in. The front desk guy was nice but he had to call the hotel manager to confirm that he received my online reservation. This is not the worst part yet, my room number is 99. That room was next to a generator or something that works on and off every five minutes. I could not sleep at all. I called the front desk to complain after 2 am but they are not picking up my calls. I had to check our at 3:30 am. "

"no beach access need a bus for 15 minutes to get there and bus comes once every hour, food is below avg with no options with such cost "all meals" I expected much more, one bedroom with no balcony, not enough staff, no proper water activities just a pool of 1.5M and a tiny pool for kids I wont go there again, no night activity what so ever no lights nothing "

"This has got to be one of the best value places in Salalah, or Oman. We had some difficulty finding it because there is more than one hotel in Salalah with Star House in the name and the property didn’t have an exact address on the reservation, only the street name. We had a full kitchen with in suite laundry, living area, bathroom, bedroom, and balcony for 10 OMR per night—hard to beat that in Oman. We were expecting a sub par experience given the low price but the room was nicer and better...

"This very friendly, simple and comfortable property couldn't be in a better location situated on the glorious Dahiriz, Salalah beach. We opted to have breakfast every morning for the four days that we stayed and it was really worthwhile. Fahad cooked and served and it was varied and delicious. Our room looked straight on to the beach where, if you are lucky, you will see dolphins swimming by. Would we return? Yes - in a heartbeat!"
