The room was lovely, but the heating was on a timer, so it was a little cold when we got into the room. But everything else was wonderful.

Ox Hotel Carlisle
Very clean budget hotel. Comfortable bed, good linen and towels. Only problem is there are no bedside lights or lamps in the room and main light is very bright, so had to keep the bathroom light on for subdued lighting.

The pillows are very flat. Nice to have a fridge. Very modern room that I enjoyed. The room faced south and was EXTREMELY hot even with closing the curtains all day and the window open. The Halston
Excellent property. Exceptionally clean, great customer service and The Penny Blue Restaurant, Bar and Breakfast were all 5 star. Our rooms were great too, cannot fault The Halston.
