It was my first time visiting DaLat, and the staff were top notch and helpful in making my experience there a trip to remember. The location is quiet and surrounded by lust trees and vegetation. My advice is to rent a motorcycle when staying here, as it can be challenging to book a Grab or taxi.
Nice hotel. Friendly staffs. The room is spacious and beautiful view to the pine tree hill, fresh air. You can easily find nice coffee shops, bbq restaurant around. Breakfast is nice with local food. Highly recommended.
The gate was a great hotel with beautiful views of the mountains. Just be prepared to walk a lot. The core area is about 2.5 mos away and with the shopping mall with the Go about 1.5kms. Nice walk but in the rain not so much. There is a great BBQ restaurants in this neighborhood and the best is next door!
Avoid at all costs – complete dump, not as advertised
We had to drag out bags through a building site to get to the front door, cars can't get in there so you need to walk 500m then through muck for a grab.
This is genuinely the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room had no AC, no safe, no fridge – nothing that was listed. The bathroom flooded every time we showered. To get to our room, we had to walk under a leaking pipe. The “rooftop terrace” they advertised is derelict, nothing like the photos.
The breakfast buffet was shocking – clearly reused fruit from the previous day, plain white bread with no butter, jam, or toaster, no eggs, no juice. Just a disgusting bowl of gloopy slop and old rice. Even the water sat in the same jug day after day, which I saw as we passed the room on our way out. It was without doubt the worst breakfast buffet I’ve ever seen in a hotel.
The hotel itself is falling apart and honestly feels like it should be knocked down. Definitely not as advertised.
To make things worse, when we tried to cancel one night in line with the cancellation policy, Expedia told us the hotel was non-responsive and wouldn’t approve the refund. The hotel claimed they agreed to refund us and even sent an email, but Expedia confirmed that was not true. Completely dishonest.
Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else – there are plenty of far better options in Da Lat. This place is a scam and a disgrace.
