"We spent 2 nights here. The word to describe everything is spacious. There was so much open space in our room, that we weren't constantly in each other's way. The bathroom was large with a long counter, which I love. Even the area for the continental breakfast was large and uncrowded. The selection at breakfast was nice with all the usual fare. The refrigerator in our room was only a refrigerator, so I asked the person at the front desk to put our ice pack in their freezer, which they graciously did. "

"Loved staying here in June. The staff was friendly and made sure I knew everything the place had to offer. Check in and out were a breeze. Especially loved the possibility of free laundry and the other perfect amenities available. The place was perfect for an morning or evening stroll. It was situated perfectly to many great areas including Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake, Mount Rushmore, and Wind Cave National Park. Even Badlands National Park wasn't a bad drive away. While it definitely is an older establishment, I feel like they've done well in keeping it fresh and clean. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Custer."

"Hotel was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly & we loved the outdoor area & firepit for relaxing in the evening after riding in the Black Hills. Parking with a vehicle and trailer was a little bit of a challenge, but having a gas station right next to the hotel was a convenience."
