Great price

Location of this hotel is great, owners are very friendly and helpful with further travel plans. Breakfast was always filling with plenty to eat, bedroom was clean and comfortable, shower was slightly cold but we managed just fine :)

I loved Ataraxia, there was almost always someone available for help, they cleaned the rooms every day, and the breakfast was delicious (especially the orange juice)

Check in was easy, eventhough we arrived late. The host and hostess were charming and very helpful, even assisted with a late night request. The room was clean and quiet, just what we needed for a last minute booking. Looking forward to breakfast in the morning!

Hotel is very close to the main squares. About the 3-4 blocks. Walked back of forth many times. Virgil and Berthoud were very helpful in arranging airport transportation and tours. Accommodations were clean and good for the hotel category.

Warm and welcoming

Host could for us, very helpful and friendly. He took us to see saqsaywaman and the llama/alpaca festival and dropped us at the airport when we left. The hotel is in a great location nearby all the attractions.

Really clean property. They clean the room every single day. Very nice family. Would absolutely stay here again. The water wasn't the warmest there were days I took cold showers but as long as no one else is there, it's tolerable. Showers aside. They made a decent little breakfast every morning. Had great prices. Maybe the best prices on travel and tours and we're just genuinely nice people.

I stayed for three nights it was so cold when breathing I could see smoke. The water was also not warm in the shower. I got a really bad cold and an infection which almost caused me not going to the Machu Picchu. The owners are really nice and gave me extra blankets and tea but it was not enough.

The hostel was impossible to find. No sign or anything. We arrived at 9 pm. The hostel was a locked door and there was no bell or anything. A kind lady on the street offered to call the hostel so that we could get inside. Once we got inside, the lady in the reception said that the room we had booked had issues with the toilet. She asked if it was ok to transfer us to a different hostel, even further away from the city center, which we then did.

Excellent!!!! I hope there is a better word than excellent. Anyway, what I can say is that you get what you pay for. To many people, maybe room is small but for me travelling alone, it's more than I need, so do not expect too much about room size. Service is spectacular. Right after I book the room, there is someone contact me to ask about flight time to better greet me when I come. That's a WOW right there. There is a mid-age couple taking care of the hotel and honestly, they take a good care of me as their son. They call me for breakfast, book tour for me. On the day tour, he even brings me to the tour guy to make sure everything is okay. And there is 1 housekeeping girl who is so nice too. Totally, they made my trip an unforgettable one.

Primer dia en Perú, puntos positivos: Tomamos servicio de taxi del hotel y nos esperaron sin problemas Bertha es muy atenta y servicial Está bien ubicado Puntos negativos: No tiene buena aislación acústica, cuando bajaban las personas las escaleras se escuchaba. La taza del WC estaba un poco salida, son detalles que se pueden mejorar. Desayuno normal, no es la gran cosa pero te permite poder iniciar bien tu día.

Muito satisfeito com a hospedagem

Estou bastante satisfeito com a propriedade, desde a atenção da proprietária até o conforto da hospedagem. O hotel está bem localizado, próximo a Plaza del Armas e avenida El Sol. O quarto possui TV de plasma, camas confortáveis, guarda roupa e chuveiro quente. Ambiente limpo, confortável e agradável. Super indico a hospedagem. Fiquei muito satisfeito.
