I would recommend Casa Biru to anyone visiting Cusco. My husband and I loved its location, which was just a stone’s throw away from the Plaza de Armas, but far enough removed from too much hustle and bustle to feel peaceful. It was close to a ton of great dining options which we took advantage of. The staff were super attentive, always asking us what time we would prefer breakfast the night before, and preparing packed lunches for us when we had to leave early for our Machu Picchu trip. Breakfast was pretty basic continental, but eggs are cooked to order. The room itself was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our room had a mini fridge, and the shower always had plenty of hot water. A note on noise: the building connects to a bar with live music, which wrapped up around 10:30 on the couple nights we heard it. Cusco morning traffic also brought a good bit of honking outside our window. Nothing playing some white noise or using earplugs won’t drown out if you’re used to city dwelling like us.

Hotel from hell.
Avoid this please at all costs. I will start by saying horrible, horrible, horrible. Breakfast is poor with no variety and the breakfast room has no lights very dark, Bread toaster is broken and in poor conditions. Common areas, hallways and patios are not taking care of, dirty and dusty. You will find holes on the walls. But the major disappointment came to when the water got shut off every night around 10:00pm. My husband and I took 2 tours one to rainbow mountain and the other to machu picchu. Left the hotel super early and when got back to hotel at night had no water what so ever. Told the personnel on site they didn't Know what to do or what to say. During the next three days we tried taking showers in the mornings. We had to take cold showers since their water heater was not working either. WiFi does not work on the second floor where I was staying. No matter what hotel management says WiFi does not works. Will never stay here even if is offered as free nights. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

I would without hesitation recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Cusco! The staff was so welcoming and attentive. I did a lot during my visit, which meant several 3-4am starts. Instead of breakfast, they prepared a box lunch for me on these days. I was greeted every time I arrived and the one day the front desk didn’t see me return, they called my room to make sure i was ok. The room was above and beyond what I expected. It was a loft style unit with a king bed and a Juliet balcony that overlook Calle San Agustin. It was well cleaned, lots of charm, and a great home base for what ended up being a fantastic trip!!!!

Excellent room and customer service. My only gripe is something the hotel cant control...the outside street noise. If you are a light sleeper stay away. Overall my stay was great, I absolutely loved the staff and room.

This hotel is centrally located and easy to get to from the airport and train station. The staff are extremely friendly and go beyond to help out. The rooms are pleasantly decorated and the beds perfect. The only drawback to the streetview rooms is that that same easy accessibility from the airport and train station does mean that there is (one-way) car traffic but that is a small price to pay. Ave Del Sol, Plaza D'Armas and San Blas are all a 5 minute or less walk. Excellent hotel and I will stay here again should I find myself in Cusco again.

I really enjoyed staying at Casa Biru Hotel in Cusco. It's in an ideal location near the Plaza de Armas in the courtyard of a historic building with great ambiance close to many shops and good restaurants. My room was small, but updated and appealing and had everything that I needed. The staff were professional, helpful and friendly and added to my positive experience. Thank you Casa Biru!

Dreadful stay. Whilst the staff were helpful and tried to accommodate, I had to change hotels after two horrendous nights sleep. Plastic roofing in one room meant the rain overnight was awfully loud and kept me awake; whilst the second room (after having been moved) contained a fridge which made noise every 15 minutes throughout the night, rattling the shelving and metal safe that was on top. Breakfast was beyond terrible and the noise of the neighbouring rooms (doors slamming, people speaking) was very upsetting. Would not recommend.

The location was great. There is a grocery store across the street that has all of the necessities. There are also plenty of dining options within walking distance. I would definitely recommend the hotel! Our room was clean and we loved the layout for 4 people. Also our kids loved the Smart TV :) The front desk is there 24/7. We will stay there again if we go back to Cusco!

These Boutique hotel is not Boutique unless u think small outdated is a Boutique hotel, it is nothing fancy about it and do not believe the pictures. Leaks on roof, stained ceilings, mosquitos on room, broken water faucet, problem to drop off and pickup ( very small street next to it) the People in Peru is awesome and super clean and honest! Big shout out to them but the hotel is severely outdated. I wont ever stay here again. I want it a Peru Experience, reason why I did not stayed in a Hotel chain, after this experience I am going back. Before I forget their “ Breakfast” is a JOKE! Not even a Motel 6 has the type of breakfast they have… do not stay here, u will be disappointed many awesome hotels around. The area is nice that I give it to them. I spent all day questioning me why I did not chose another hotel.

Great service and stay
Excellent service and location. The hotel is located in a historic courtyard building with an outstanding restaurant and bar inside. Walking distance to everything in Cusco. Cons are that the room was small but very nice bathroom/bed and there is no elevator. Front desk was excellent arranging an early morning taxi to airport and even providing bagged breakfast on our departure.

A bit difficult to find, but most of the places in the area are thru the entrance of a little store/shop and this is the same way! Once your inside the bedroom was big, clean and had just what we needed for the stay. Right downtown and staff ready to help. Laundry service on premise- which was super helpful- you have to pay separately for this! They also gave me a sweet birthday card and cake on my birthday:) and one included free drink for each guest(Pisco sour or hot tea) Would totally recommend

Great hotel.
The hotel does not look very pretty when you go inside the building to the lobby. It actually looks like in construction but it is not. However after I got in my room I really liked it. The staff is great and very helpful. I will stay there again if I go back to Cusco.

The hotel is in a great location, in walking distance from the historic city center. The rooms are nice and beds are really really comfortable . The staff was amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. They helped us with arrangements of taxi and tours. They also allowed us to keep our extra luggage in their storage while we were traveling to machu Picchu (we had rented a room with Casa biru again for ourreturn to cusco). They provided heaters when we asked. I am very grateful to their excellent service and hospitality. If we come back to cusco, we will rent a room again with them.

Nice service, but cold and noisy.
The service was great. However, our room was really cold at night and the walls are very thin. We could hear people talking late into the night and VERY early in the morning. It sounded like they were in our room. Nice location though.

The staff were excellent and very helpful. The hotel was very pretty as well. Location was great. I only have a couple of complaints: The rooms are not well insulated and they were freezing, super uncomfortable and I spilled a drop of makeup on the comforter and I had to pay for it since they said it would not come off. Other than that, everything was good.

Decent boutique hotel
Overall, nice property and good breakfast. Nice friendly service. Only complaint was tin roof which was super loud in the rain and a sunlight (no darkening shade) which wakes you up at 545am.

Very friendly and caring staff. Great location, close to major city attractions. Room was very clean - crisp, snow-white bedding and towels. I would highly recommend this place and would stay there again.

Loved this place. Location was very good. Everything was very clean and efficient. We had an electric heater in the room that we used and worked wonderfully. I would stay there again.

My family and I stayed here while in Cusco and we really enjoyed our stay. We have 2 toddlers so we were happy to have a bathtub and the common area outside our room. Beds were comfy, service was great and the location is excellent. Staff arranged airport transportation both directions and were super helpful with luggage. I would definitely recommend Casa Biru for anyone traveling to Cusco.

The location of hotel is good as it is one block away from Plaza de Alma. all the fun stuff are nearby. However, it was noisy with a neighboring bar. 7pm-11:30pm, the loud music annoyed me with repeated 5 same songs again and again, and I could not be rested. Of course, the hotel location is prone for noise but it was shocked that the receptionist at the hotel said I should buy earplugs. Overall, it did not seem like they care guests, not much sense of hospitality. I did not receive WIFI password, location of breakfast, or smile. They were busy with construction /remodeling when I was there.

This hotel was wonderful! Katia and the whole staff were very accommodating and we had a great time. We would highly recommend this place for a visit to Cusco.

Comfortable, great location
We stayed at Casa Biru for 3 nights so that we could be close to the central plazas in Cusco and the location is fantastic. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms were really lovely. The staff at the hotel was amazing and helpful and made sure that we enjoyed our stay. This is a brand new hotel and so there was some construction going on during our visit, but it did not disturb us.

Great Hotel!
This Hotel is brand new and everything about it was great! The staff was extremely helpful from check-in to check-out, and did everything to ensure our stay was amazing. The location is right near the Plaza (4 min walk) and there is plenty of markets and restaurants near by. The room was extremely clean with comfortable beds and plenty of room for the three of us that stayed. By far the best hotel we stayed at in Peru. Highly recommend!

Da la apariencia de ser un hotel bastante viejo. Aunque tiene algunas habitaciones remodeladas, nos asignaron la habitación mas vieja y en extremo pequeña. No teniamos donde poner las cosas. Todo tocaba ponerlo en el suelo. La habitación quedaba al lado de un restaurante/bar, por lo que en la noche se escuchaba toda la bulla del lugar. Teniendo en cuenta que es un hotel donde llegas a descansar el primer dia y a pasar la sorocha, es mejor escoger un lugar mas agradable. En cuanto a la ubicación, qurda muy cerca a todo. Bien ubicado
