"The property is pretty old and run down. The breakfast was actually pretty good, so overall pretty good value for the money. The location was kind of awful, pretty ugly neighborhood."

"The property location is right in the center of old town. You can walk to any part of the city in 15-20 mins. The staff were great and went above and beyond. The building is really cool, being so old and historical. The local Il Duomo is a short 5 min walk and Can be seen from most of the rooms in the hotel. "

"Hotel was lovely and clean, on a large spacious plot. Swimming pool was great with seating and sun beds. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us. We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor. The only thing missing for us was tea/coffee making facilities in our room, we came out late for breakfast so missed out on choice but what we had was good. Apart from those tiny points I would recommend. "

"The residence is a 10 minute drive from the center of Mantova. The room and the bathroom was very clean and comfortable, very thoughtfully equipped with maps and information on different touristic attractions in the area. The owner is wonderful, she offers her homemade jams and sweets, sandwiches for breakfast. We were really spoiled. "

Area around swimming pool is sorrounded by nice trees and flowers, as well as the vineyard at the back. It has an exclusive feeling to it with lots of space, no noise from the road and lovely view. Some staff were rude at times, but the majority was helpful and very pleasant. Taxis were a nightmare to get and the village was quite far from the main town."
