"We had a fantastic 8 days at the Hilton Flamingo. The rooms were very spacious and clean. You had a choice of the beach, within steps or the pool. Both great options. The Pelican bar on site was great. Always good food. Many good restaurants near by. Juliette’s Bistro steps away, Replay sports bar and grill, buccaneers , La Patrona. All good eating. The staff at the property was very welcoming. Always texting to make sure we didn’t need anything. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a memorable vacation."

"There was a decent variety of food options. The store in the resort was a little expensive but nothing crazy. The beach was beautiful and super clear. If you choose all-inclusive, you can rent a large variety of items including kayaks and snorkels. If you are given a room far from the check-in desk, they have golf cart shuttles available to take you up and down the large hill as needed. At the front desk you can sign up for excursions and they have a wide variety available for whatever you are interested in. I had an absolutely beautiful room with a balcony, nearly full kitchen, and a jacuzzi tub. There’s a fort at the top with a lot of history attached that you can visit. You’ll also find lots of lizards, hermit crabs, and large iguanas at the top of the hill. The only issues were that staff run on island time (they took so long to check us in and out), and the other couple we were with paid extra for a beachfront view and got a tiny room that smelled like sulfur. They called the staff and went to the front desk multiple times. Staff kept saying they’d look into it but never did anything. So they paid more than we did and got a significantly worse experience. The shops take card over $10 and take US cash."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing, making the entire experience enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!"

"It was a great beach vacation with my girlfriend, I highly recommend la playa for it’s proximity to a strip of private beach and restaurants within 1-2 minute walking distance. Catherine and Benedicte were a pleasure and gave great recommendations. The snorkeling excursion was fantastic - lots of sea turtles. We will be back again soon. Thank you for improving my French."

"Ample room accommodation with full kitchen amenities. Pleasant balcony with water view. Additional electrical outlets would be helpful. Plenty of hot water for washing and showering. Fine location with many quality restaurants nearby. Burger King and a fully stocked supermarket within 1 block. I would definitely stay here when visit St. Maarten in the future."
