Hotel Boutique Lagarta Lodge

"This is our second stay and although we love the beauty of the location the hospitality wasn’t quite as accommodating as our first trip. We were there for a 60th bday and engagement and wasn’t a lot of notice to that. It was a bit more crowded than our first trip and think we’ll come back in July again for smaller crowds. Food is always good and can’t beat the sunset views from the infinity pool."

"The hotel was average. The beach is very rocky compared to side of town by surf shops and restaurants. We would have liked more engagement from the staff. They talked to each other a lot, but minimally helpful. Our shower in our villa was luke warm. The staff brought new towels each day, which was nice. We had a private pool. There were a lot of mosquitos! The breakfast was ok, very good juice and a lot of options. No custom orders though."

"FIVE STAR!!! The location of the property was perfect! Could walk to the beach just yards away. The market and restaurant were also a short walking from the accommodations. The staff was friendly and very personable. Would return to this property in a heartbeat!!"

"Great location, quiet to sleep well and few minutes (3-5) from the active loud nightlife. The pool is top! Sandra at the reception is very nice and professional. Will go back."

"Very old property and the rooms were lacking preventative maintenance. Rings in toilet, spiders and cobwebs in corners, shower doesn’t drain, sheets stained, and gaps in the entry door to were ants were coming in. Now the pool and beach front is nice, actually beautiful. So if you don’t care where you lay your head. Then it’s a great place. But if you want a comfortable place to sleep as well as a nice place. Then this is not the place to stay. We booked three rooms and all were the same. Dirty, Old, uncared for."

"This hotel is peaceful and perfect for a couples vacation. The housekeeping wasn’t really cleaning for example our sheets became dirty instead of them changing the sheets they made the bed up with the exact sheet on opposite side, they left the garbage and the cups of alcohol that were left on the mini fridge. Other than that the property is amazing food is amazing bartenders will have those drinks coming. It wasn’t to crowded as it is a small all inclusive resort. I will definitely be staying there again."
