"They took and kept a photo copy of my drivers license. The carpet in the room had red (Gatorade?) stains throughout. The phone did not work, the TV did not work. Toilet not cleaned, covered with urine spots. The final straw was when I saw the bugs scurrying in the bathroom at night. I took the photo to the front desk and told of my other issues. They room changed me and since it took 30 minutes they were either looking for a clean room or cleaned the suite they moved me to. They apologized and I was able to sleep in the new room. While I often don't leave a review, I really have to let people know. The lack of cleaniness and bugs are unacceptable. Rates are outrageous in Champaign during UIUC events. The least they can do is provide a clean room. "

"We had excellent stay at this hotel. It is in the UIUC campus and very convenient if you need a place to stay close by the university. Breakfast was great."

"My fridge froze my drinks, the freezer had so much build up you couldn't use it. My window was the only one I saw that had condensation on it. My room faced the freeway so you could hear all the traffic. Wasn't dirty but not the cleanest. For the amount I paid and what I got I was disappointed."

"This location, while not on campus is right on a bus line that takes you straight there in 10 min. Walk to the next bus stop and it’s actually a free ride. Nice evening snacks and typical morning breakfast. It worked perfectly for us urbanites used to taking a bus and walking places. Maple and Yolk next door as a bonus. "

"Overall, the hotel and our room was perfect for our time at University of Illinois; great location and a plus to have the Bake Lab on the first floor! The only negative was that sadly the room was not swept or vacuumed before our stay. Crumbs, hair, etc on floor and rug areas. "
