"The front desk staff was very nice. The hotel is wonderful, i love the porch light outside my door that i can turn on and off! The room was spacious for a standard, and clean and comfortable. I slept so well. I also love that there is a good restaurant on premises. This was my second stay at the Dunmar and anytime im in Evanston I will choose this hotel."

"Our stay was was ok but not great. The bathroom door didn’t latch/close all the way. The tv had terrible, spotty service so you really couldn’t watch anything. The charger on the desk lap was extremely loose and it made it hard to charge your phone in that area. Other than that the renovated room was pretty good. It was quiet, got cold enough, and was clean. The breakfast had plenty of options. Staff was friendly. "
