"I hate leaving negative info but for the benefit of future travelers, I have to be honest about a few items with this property: 1. It was absolutely buzzing with flies inside. There was spray and a fly swatter inside which indicates this must be a known issue to the property manager. It made our short stay very uncomfortable. 2. This is not a hot tub, it is a swedish bath. "Our room set up was fantastic. Great space and view. It is dated and the carpets really need to be replaced as well as some new lights need to be added to the bathroom. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Location was excellent with the exception of all the set up of the Montreux Jazz festival (of which the hotel warned me of but I had no idea of the magnitude of the event). We would stay again!"

"Really friendly and helpful staff here, easy check in process. Simple room well ventilated with window to open as well as a fan. Eu adapters didn’t fit here but thankfully reception staff were able to help us with this the morning of check out. Really great location super central for shops and restaurants, station also a short walk away. The lake less than 4 min walk! The shower was a little troublesome it had to be angled very strangely and still didn’t get the full benefit. Not a huge amount of space in the bathroom but perfectly fine for one night!"

"Uniquely centered steps from the famous Catédral St. Nicholas... Museums, Dining, College St. Michel, historic / Medieval charm and absolutely one-of-its-kind architectural details. We started taking pix of the "Doors of Fribourg" and then "the Windows of Fribourg" as a lark. The breakfast was a bit expensive, but delicious and expansive. Frankly, a breakfast could serve one for two meals with good proteins, fruit, and delicious pastries of all kinds."
