Craters of the Moon is a really wonderful experience. There are huge lava fields with pathways for you to walk and explore the results of the volcanic eruptions and lava flows that moved across this landscape.

In addition to the fields there are lava tubes to explore and other volcanic features to investigate. If you get the chance it is well worth a visit.
